My hands have travelled the world since I qualified in 1996 with an ITEC diploma for Anatomy and Physiology and Body Massage. Ken Holme, our tutor at The Churchill Centre in London, taught us to relax our hands and to let them travel and learn on the journey of touch therapy. He showed us how touch flows beyond our layers of skin to reach us on all levels - physical and emotional. I became a great believer in the positive effects that massage delivers.

On my way through UK, the Netherlands, Japan, Germany, Qatar, Chile, Spain, Malaysia and UAE, I have worked with all ages and many different body types and cases. It has been a true and rewarding experience, and I feel very privileged to be living this journey. I constantly continue to develop myself in my touch therapy skills through my clients, my peers, and extensive training. My passion for my work and the help I can give to others give me great joy and fulfilment.

Learning Dr Vodder’s Manual Lymph Drainage technique - which I describe on the MLD page – took my touch style to a new level in 2002, enabling me to reach out further and help my clients in a new way. Learning Hot Stone Massage techniques in 2008 gave me an additional helping hand – either as a dedicated full body treatment or integrated into my other treatments.

Another highlight in my career has been meeting the inspiring Gayle MacDonald in 2010 on her ‘Massage for People Living with Cancer’ course in Scotland. Although I had already worked with people who had experienced cancer, she gave me a more defined touch.

My touch has developed into my own personal and authentic style through all I have learnt and experienced, which I adapt for my different clients in personalised massage treatments. My travelling hands are still on the go after almost 20 years of work experience in massage touch therapy. I look forward to treating and working with you.
